PICTURES OF LILLY
Pictures of Lilly was what helped The Who sleep at night.
Since as we have nearly reached the 50000 views mark i thought i would show some of the lovely ladies that helped me sleep at night when i was a young Sprog.
Lynda Lussardi was my favorite.
But hang on... What about the cheeky tennis girl that had lost her pants?
Or Wonder Women?
Or How about the lovley Daisy Duke???
Or those two chicks , in the lambourgini, from Cannon Ball Run?

FINALLY A PICTURE OF A LATHE
I always like seeing a picture of a " lathe in action" on somebody's Blog site.
Well now i have a picture of my own, I feel like i have stepped up a level.
Unfortunatly it's not my lathe (but i have realised my life wont be compleete until i get one.)
This lathe belongs to my friend Paul. I went around to his house after work so that he could take time (Time is a very special thing, so Thank you Paul) to show me how to make up some spacers.
I could not get 15mm bearings with the outside diameter for my wheel (it's a sportster wheel) so i used the normal 25mm bearings and made the spacers to compensate.
As you can see the spacer is left long so that it pokes inside the central spacer so as to keep it in place.
BINGO..
So today i fitted the bearings and spacers to the wheel.
Laced and trued the rear wheel with a wider rim.
Spaced the rear disc out so that the calliper missed the spokes.
Worked out what size spacers i need to make for the rear wheel.
and welded some mounts, for the seat unit, onto the frame.

There's "SLOW WORK and SHOW WORK"
Had another day of snow today so i maneged to skive off work and hide in my shed..
Some times you seem to make massive progress making some thing that looks impressive.
That is "SHOW WORK"
Then other days you spend most of your time making little brackets and mounting stuff.
You think "I'll just knock up some brackets".
Then you Measure, Cut, Adjust and Weld. Then you look at the clock and the whole morning has gone...
That is "SLOW WORK" not very impressive but just as important..

DUKE FLAT-TRACKER
It was snowing today. I could have made it to work but it was a good excuse to spend the day in the shed.
I was starting to think that building this Tank was a bad idea. But now that it is nearly finished I'm diggin it..

TAKING THE "CITY SLICKERS" FOR A DAY OUT
It's not exactly "Resevoir dogs" is it?
My friends called by so we could go for a ride today, so i took them to a hill climb, near where i live. I think they enjoyed it as all they did was moan.. Thats not totally true but they will definatly not be joining the "ramblers association".
There was some bloody cool stuff and some compleetly crap stuff that tryed to make it up the hill, the best thing I saw was a Hillman with a 4 litre engine nail that hill, it sounded bloody awsome aswell.
After wards we we went for a ride to the pub,,,,,, BRILLIANT.

MAKE THIS YEAR VERY COOL
Check more of thise brilliant photos HERE |
You would trawl magazines and gain as much knowlage about your new life and aspire to be the best you can?
This year instead of just riding to work (still do that) use your bike (or what ever you hobby is) as it was originally designed. Use it as a way to be free and live.
Be excited by everything again ,like this lad above, even if your helmet is so big you may as well be wearing a cardboard box.
HAPPY NEW YEAR .
