MOUNTAIN BIKE BACK ON TARMAC

Took the DUKE out for a quick test in the rain. 

I bloody love it, it's so light and torquey. 

The rear-end is still a bit pissed from when I got ran over. 

Front mudguard works aswell.

SHED TIME

Today I managed to get the Duke running again although I happend to put 2-stroke mix in by accident so it didn't run great. 

But what did happen was that I got a new battery for it. 

One on right is 13a/ hr lead acid jobby.

On the left is the new 9a/hr lithiam battery . 

Being lithiam it has a bigger cranking torque so you can use a smaller battery. Which is nice. 

But what's even better is it's so light. 

Fuck me when it arrived I thought the box was empty. Under 1kg compared to the old one being 5kgs. And you can mount it any way up you like. 

I'm well impressed. 

Plus I made a front mudguard. Looks a bit high in the pick but in the flesh it looks better.

HOW COOL IS THAT?

I'm not just talking about the bloody ace dodge, in general lee orange. 

I'm also talking about the very cool adjustable swivel bench ( those chicks with beehives used to sit on them in the telephone exchanges.)

When it's not holding his tool box my friend just sits on it and marvels about the coolness of his truck.

It is a very cool truck.

We been livin in our house for a year now. (Since the fire) an today we finally put some pickies on the walls. 

You may or may not recognise them. One the left is Adi Gilbert an on the right is Ben Mesh both put in a great show at the art expo I did in Bristol in the summer.

Turns out I'm a feckin hair dresser now. 

I watched this film today and it was bloody brilliant. unfortunately the trailer dosnt mention the star of the show. Cedric Lynch. This is a man that has to be seen to be believed, he invented a brilliant electric motor (that nearly all the bikes use ) his invention was so successful that his company sacked him. he built his bike in a shed and, well you'll see.
